Premium HydroseedingHydroseeding is a process of mixing grass seed, fertilizer, and mulch, then applying that mixture under pressure with a hose.
A hydroseeded area typically germinates faster than normally broadcast seeding because broadcast seeding requires several days of watering to reach the same level of moisture saturation the grass needs to grow as that used in the hydroseeding process. After a lawn has been hydroseeded it will need to be lightly watered for three to four weeks, keeping the surface evenly moist. In addition to preserving moisture, the hydroseeded mulch will help in preventing erosion and runoff. Our premium hydroseeding provides superior results. We use the highest quality products and only certified seed. It works by holding the seed in direct contact with the agents that stimulate germination; water, starter fertilizer, and hydraulic paper mulch. We also add products to retain moisture longer and hold the seed and soil in place as it goes through the germination and establishment process. Total care and monitoringYou will be given watering and care instructions to ensure optimal results. What sets us apart is that we are not finished at this point. That's right, you aren't on your own. We are in this for long-term results. We leave our customers with a lawn...not just some grass. Our hydroseeded projects develop into thick and beautiful lawns. As it is developing we continue monitoring the lawn through the year on our fertilization program, addressing any problems as they arise. Weeds, insect damage, and summer stress are all addressed before they become major problems. Double RenovationIn mid-August, as summer draws to a close, we return to aerate and overseed the lawn. This stimulates root growth and thickens the lawn by filling in areas that may need some additional coverage. We developed this Double Renovation process because we know to expect that a young lawn will experience problems until it becomes a fully established lawn with a complete root system with natural defensive properties. This takes time to develop. Our follow up procedures allow us the opportunity to address any problems that might occur. We leave our customers with the beautiful lawn they are expecting. |
