Organic lawn care is an approach centered around building and maintaining a healthy soil. In fact, a healthy lawn starts with the soil. A healthy soil leads to healthy turf-grass plants, which means a healthier lawn, a healthier family, and a healthier planet.

Our Simply Safest Organic Program works hard to ensure the long-term health of your lawn. There are four stages of this 7-year program. Because with each year your soil's health will improve over the year before. The longer you're under our Organic Lawn Care Program, the more self-sustaining your lawn becomes. Bottom line: the cost of your lawn care will go down each year, making this program more cost effective in the long run.

We all want homes to be safe for our families. This program allows you to have a nice lawn, save money in the long-term, and most important: keep pesticides and chemicals out of the environment and away from the ones that you love.

Four-Stage Organic Program

STAGE-ONE

This stage is for the first year that your lawn is on our Organic Lawn Program.

CORN GLUTEN MEAL

Corn Gluten Meal is a natural pre-emergent weed and crabgrass control. This product is completely safe. In fact, it is used in many pet and animal foods. Besides creating a weed prevention layer on your soil, it also naturally contains 10% slow-release nitrogen that acts as your first fertilization.

ORGANIC LATE SPRING

All Natural Organic Fertilization that replenishes the soil and supplies your lawn with special nutrients needed to support prolonged turf-grass greening and vital root development.

ORGANIC SUMMER

Includes another all Natural Organic Fertilization that continues to replenish the soil while supplying your lawn with the nutrients that are needed to support prolonged turf-grass greening and root development.

NEMATODE NATURAL GRUB & INSECT CONTROL

Nematodes are microscopic, non-segmented worms which occur naturally in soils all over the world. These tiny worms actually attack soil-dwelling insects that can be harmful to plants.

Beneficial nematodes are a totally safe biological control of parasitic insects. We apply the nematodes to your soil in the early fall which gives them the best opportunity to establish themselves in the soil and attack harmful grubs and sod webworms populations before they cause extensive damage to your lawn. They can also be applied in the spring to control existing grub populations to stop further damage.

ORGANIC EARLY FALL

All Natural Organic Fertilization that replenishes the soil and supplies your lawn with the nutrients that are needed to support prolonged greening and root development.

ORGANIC WINTERIZER

All Natural Organic Fertilization that replenishes the soil and supplies your lawn with the nutrients that are needed to support prolonged greening and root development.

LIMESTONE

Our special lime application is a balanced blend of magnesium and calcium that not only improves the condition of your soil, but also provides a natural pH balance to your soil creating an ideal growing condition for your lawn. By correcting over-acidic soil conditions, grasses are able to better absorb more nutrients from the soil, and hungry weeds are less likely to thrive, making your fertilization plan more effective. In some cases we are using Solucal where additional calcium uptake is required by the plant.

AERATION / OVERSEEDING

Our aeration program stimulates root development, loosens the soil, making it easier for nutrients, water, and air to percolate through the ground. It also helps reduce thatch buildup that may be preventing moisture from reaching the important root zone of your grass. This is especially important during drought conditions. We also overseed the lawn after aerating. This helps thicken a lawn as much a possible and helps keep undesirable grass species from taking over your lawn.

STAGE-TWO

This stage is for your lawn's 2nd and 3rd year on our Organic Lawn Program. Stage-Two includes everything in Stage-One except for the nematode application which is not normally necessary to repeat.

STAGE-THREE

This stage is for your lawn’s 4th, 5th, and 6th years on our Organic Lawn program. The year still begins with a corn gluten meal application, followed by only three applications of organic fertilizer and a lime treatment at the end of the season to maintain the pH balance of the soil. Aeration / Overseeding is optional, but recommended every 2-3 years. By this point your lawn should be thick and lush.

STAGE-FOUR

At this stage your soil will be so healthy that your lawn can be maintained with just three fertilizations throughout the growing season. We will continue monitoring your lawn for any problems or deficiencies that might happen, to insure that your beautiful Organic Lawn maintains a peak performance level that you'll admire for years.
